I got trained by the same company, but at a different program. (bearEMT at UC Berkeley)
The instructors are very helpful and have tons of experience. My instructor (Dave, the one with long blond hair) has been a paramedic for decades and has just returned from the middle east a year ago. His lecture was always entertaining and his practice sections were on point. Owner of the company also taught my class during the practice sections, and he always treats students with respect and has the student’s future in mind. I think all of us who had a real interest in EMT passed NREMT and got the state license.
The only problem i had was the ridealong schedule. If you finish your paperwork late then you might have a really late ridealong.
Royal ambulance has a pretty good relationship with Defib This and is willing to hire new EMTs.
TLDR: If you have the money, do it. Instructors have plenty field/teaching experience. The class is fun if you are really interested.
