Testimonials
This place is for sure 5 stars. The instructor Alex is extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and best of all has a sense of humor that makes class time go by quickly. Thank you so very much for taking me as your student! I have learned an incredible amount from you over the last six weeks. I will go into my final semester of nursing school a stronger student because of you. Your patience, encouragement and support have been so wonderful. Thank you for creating a safe and fun learning environment for me Aki was approachable and friendly from the moment we met. Her knowledge base and ability to explain complex pathology in an intuitive “real world” way provided me with a deeper understanding of disease process, intervention effectiveness, and the treatment and care continuum that persists after the patient is out of your care. Her approach to educating is challenging and effective. She challenges you to see “the big picture” of what is going on with your patients and equips you with the tools and confidence to give the best patient care possible. I know my ability to assess, treat and care for my patients would not be what it is today without having had the opportunity to learn from Aki and each of my patients benefits from what I learned. Emergency Response Training is a great place to go to receive your basic and advanced training. I took the PALS certification class with Alex and was pleasantly surprised by the expertise and small class size - both of which created a great learning environment. Solid and to-the-point presentation with a dash of sass...Emergency Response Training makes learning fun again! Not only are their lecturers super experienced in their fields, but they are great at engaging their audience. You get the best of both worlds with ERT. Emergency Response Training is a fantastic organization. The 12 Lead/STEMI class was fantastic. The class is super organized and fun, and it is exactly what I needed. I already had basic EKG interpretation under my belt, and this class added the understanding of the different leads and how the readings can provide information about MI in different parts of the heart, etc. I will probably take it again to refresh later. Kelly Salazar,RN I have my paramedic license and needed to renew ACLS and PALS. Small classroom, but that's what makes it great. Smaller class size made it easy to ask questions and have group discussions about possible and real scenarios we have faced. Instructor had the knowledge and experience to make the day a little more fun and dynamic than just the standard class, yet we still covered everything. And to top it off, the price was as good as it could get. Would definitely recommend taking any of the classes they have to offer. This was my first CPR class but it was a wonderful experience! I took BLS for healthcare providers with Alex and it was a very thorough class but Alex makes it easy. He is obviously very experienced and knows his stuff. I came out of the class actually feeling as though I could handle and emergency situation! I've been BLS-certified for years now, but have always dreaded the idea of actually having to put my skills to use. That somebody's life might depend on me to resuscitate them has always made me anxious. My heart starts to race. My palms get a little sweaty. Feels like I might just have a heart attack myself! But since taking a couple classes at ERT, I feel so much more confident in my ability to save someone should the situation arise. I am a nursing student in San Mateo and was referred to this ERT from a peer. I took both ACLS and PALS here and loved it! Alex is a great teacher and the classes are small, which I prefer as we get more one-on-one attention. Definitely worth the drive to Santa Cruz! Plus you still have enough of the day left to hang by the beach or downtown :) Alex and Aki are a great team. Not only very knowledgeable but patient and funny, nice to be around. I am a quadriplegic and I send all my caregivers to their classes. Keep up the good work you guys. |
